From Pinhead to Pioneer
Phil Friedman is a lifelong Southern California sportfishing veteran. He started at age 12 as a pinhead aboard the iconic Redondo Special, captained the Thunder Fish commercial boat, and in 1985 launched 976-TUNA — the groundbreaking service that revolutionized real-time fishing reports.
